Return Policy

At Camille Essentials, we want every customer to have a clear and transparent shopping experience. If you wish to return an item, please read the policy below carefully before submitting your request.

1. Right of Return

2. Return Eligibility Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must be returned in a condition suitable for inspection and resale. We ask that returned items meet the following conditions:

  • The return request must be submitted within 30 days after delivery

  • The item must be returned in its original condition

  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and undamaged

  • All original tags, labels, and packaging should still be included where applicable

  • The product may be inspected as you would in a physical store, but it must not show signs of actual use beyond what is necessary to assess the item

If a returned item shows damage, wear, missing components, or signs of use beyond reasonable inspection, Camille Essentials reserves the right to apply a deduction for any loss in value, to the extent permitted by law. This reflects the general EU rule that customers may inspect goods, but can be liable for diminished value if handling goes beyond what would normally be allowed in a shop.

3. How to Start a Return

To request a return, please email info@camilleessentials.com and include:

  • Your full name

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you wish to return

  • The reason for the return

  • Clear photos, if the item arrived damaged or incorrect

Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide you with the appropriate return instructions and the return address.

4. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. This includes any shipping charges, customs fees, duties, or other return-related costs that may apply. Under EU rules, the customer can be made responsible for return shipping, provided this is communicated in advance.

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we cannot process a return that cannot be verified as returned.

5. Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome of your return.

If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the withdrawal request, but we may delay reimbursement until we have either:

  • received the returned goods, or

  • received sufficient proof that the goods have been sent back

This reflects the standard EU rule on refund timing for online returns.

Please note:

  • Original express shipping surcharges, if any, may not be refundable unless required by law

  • Return shipping costs are not refunded unless the return is due to an error on our side or where required by law

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not the item you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at info@camilleessentials.com.

In such cases, we will review the issue and, where appropriate, offer a suitable remedy such as:

  • a replacement

  • a repair, where applicable

  • a partial refund

  • a full refund

Under EU consumer rules, customers are entitled to remedies when goods are faulty or not as described, and sellers must provide at least the minimum legal guarantee protections.

7. Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address entered at checkout is complete and accurate.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided by the customer, Camille Essentials cannot be held responsible for delivery issues resulting from that error. If you notice a mistake in your order details, please contact us immediately at info@camilleessentials.com.

We cannot guarantee that address changes can be made after an order has been processed.

8. Delivered Packages

If tracking information shows that the order has been delivered to the address provided at checkout, Camille Essentials is not responsible for lost or stolen parcels after delivery, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

If you believe there is a delivery problem, please contact the carrier first and then contact us so we can review the case with you.

9. Non-Accepted Returns

We reserve the right to refuse returns or reduce the refund amount where legally allowed if:

  • the item is returned used, damaged, or incomplete

  • the return does not comply with this policy

  • the item is returned without prior contact and return instructions

  • the product is not returned within a reasonable timeframe after the return request
